Austin Peay’s women’s golf team took second at the Butler Fall Invitational on October 6, extending its run of top-three finishes to three consecutive stroke-play tournaments.
The Governors recorded rounds of 292, 294 and 290 for a total of 876 at Highland Country Club in Indianapolis. Host Butler won with 856, while Austin Peay finished 10 strokes ahead of third-place Loyola Chicago.
Jillian Breedlove posted a three-round 216, and Jordin Cowing finished tied for sixth at 217 after closing with a 71. Both players placed inside the top 10.
Abby Hirtzel added a final-round 72 to finish 17th, giving Austin Peay three players among the tournament’s top 20.
